Jaxon Williams is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance with degrees in Vocal Performance and Choral Music Education. 

​

Growing up in Dallas, Jaxon performed with the Dallas Opera Children's Chorus in productions such as Boris Godunov, Turandot, Carmen, and La Bohème. He also regularly performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra through the Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas. In 2019, Jaxon music directed his first production, Newsies, with J.J. Pearce High School. In his time at Pearce, he also music directed Pippin and Hairspray.

In the Fall of 2020, Jaxon began his vocal studies at the University of Michigan with renowned bass Stephen West. He continued performing in productions such as Trial By Jury, We Rise for Freedom, The Cunning Little Vixen, and Hobson's Choice. In November of 2022, with the help of a few peers, Jaxon founded Golden Theatre Company, a theater student arts organization focused on producing Golden Age musicals. In April of 2023, Jaxon music directed GTC's inaugural production, a cabaret of Golden Age songs titled Something Golden: A Cabaret. The following semester, he conducted She Loves Me. Since, Jaxon has continued performing and music directing, as well as building skills and experiences in the field of arts administration.

Jaxon hopes to continue to teach and collaborate with other artists in both classical and musical theatre repertoire as a multi-faceted artist, with a focus on arts administration, music directing and vocal coaching.
